This past Friday I had the pleasure of going to my first Divas in the City event and I must say it will not be my last. Gabrielle and her staff did an amazing job from the decor to the caterers right on down to the DJ. The photographers took our pictures on the pink carpet to make you feel like a “Diva”. The goodie bag had some great treats inside. I am so happy I flew down from Atlanta for this event and I will fly down more often if this event is the start of more fabulous events to come.
I just wanted to thank you for inviting me to the Paint the Town Pink party on Friday. I had a wonderful time. It is a true testament that if you have enough vision and perseverance, you can see that vision come to fruition. Like a baby, only less noisy. Well actually no, since we ladies got pretty rowdy when there were gifts to be won... lol. Bottom line, sharing this event with women such as yourself, Ms. Deja Vu, and Ms. Brisa is such and empowering experience. It makes me feel that I can accomplish my own endeavors. In the sense that you feel jazzed, and full of life. I just wanted to let you know that I got an extremely positive vibe from you. I look forward to Divas in the City educating, empowering, and entertaining our young women to reach their full potential. Thanks again.

I attended the launch party for Divas In The City “DITC” in 2009. As a budding entrepreneur I was looking for a way to connect with other positive business minded women. Despite its sometimes negative connotation, in my eyes a “Diva” is a woman that exemplifies strength and power and pursues the things that she wants out of life with a certain unfounded fierceness! A New York Diva knows how to harness the power of her limitless resources In The City. DITC embodies the true sprit of sisterhood and this organization has been a wonderful asset to my network. I connected with several valued contacts at the launch party which helped to facilitate new business in 2009. I even met a couple of women that I continued a friendship with on a personal level. DITC provides a platform for developing both social and professional relationships and I am looking forward to its growth and attending more great events this year. Attending the next DITC event is a must!
